How many lessons will I need before I am ready for the test?

Most learners pass after 8–12 lessons. The Pass Plan covers 10 × 45-minute lessons plus a formal Mock Test that tells you objectively when you are ready. If your instructor signs you off, Pass First Go Guaranteed applies.

Can I use your car for the VicRoads test?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Test day in our car is included in the Pass Plan and is also sold standalone — $180 with no pickup, or $225 with home pickup and a 45-minute pre-test warm-up.

How does overseas licence conversion work in Victoria?

You sit the VicRoads practical drive test in an automatic-licensed vehicle (or manual if you want a manual licence). We handle the paperwork guidance and the practical lessons — most overseas converters take the 5-lesson pack ($290) and add the test package with home pickup ($225) for around $515 total.

Do you teach automatic or manual?

Both. Around 90% of our learners now choose automatic — the standard transmission in modern fleets. Manual lessons are available on request with our manual-rated instructors. Ask when you book.

I already have my Ls and just need a refresher — what is the process?

Book 1–3 single lessons (from $60 for 45 minutes) and your instructor will assess where you are. If you need more structure, you can roll into the Pass Plan and credit the singles already paid.

A 60-minute lesson run as a formal VicRoads-style assessment, on a real test route, with the instructor scoring you exactly like a VicRoads examiner would. It tells you objectively whether you are ready. $99 standalone, included in the Pass Plan.

What happens if I fail the VicRoads test?

If you completed the Pass Plan, got the instructor sign-off, and used our car for the test, the Pass First Go Guaranteed cover kicks in: we refund your $73.30 VicRoads test fee, give you 2 free re-prep lessons, and drive you to the re-test at no charge.
